About Tim Heimdal

Tim Heimdal

Tim Heimdal stands by his 72 foot mural of Kakwa Falls, in the first image of this gallery. The mural is about the same height as the waterfall itself. Grande Prairie Art Gallery commissioned Tim Heimdal to paint the legacy mural "Spirit of the Arctic Winter Games", now featured in The Canadian Encyclopedia. Tim won the Louise McKinney Scholarship, twice, at Alberta College of Art and Design, where he studied painting.
